*We encourage all customers to plan ahead by taking proper measurements prior to submitting their order and ensure all brackets are installed properly. Brackets should be installed directly into wall studs for maximum support and stability. Drywall anchors may be used at the buyers discretion and should be rated for the appropriate weight. We recommend utilizing a third support bracket for shelf lengths over 32″.*

Let me start with the good. The shop owner was extremely responsive and polite. The shelf shipped earlier than promised, but took a long time because of the current COVID-19 pandemic. Ashley remained responsive and diligent to track the package. The issue I had was the whitewash was very light, to the point where the wood looks almost completely unfinished. However, when trying to hang the shelf, I noticed the wood was warped badly and would not hang on the wall well enough to use it.
Overall not satisfied with the purchase, as I need to order another shelf. 🙁
Response from Ashley: We have displayed a notice regarding the extended USPS transit times since early April, as well as directly contacted all buyers post-purchase to ensure they are aware of the issue. The delays due to COVID19 are unfortunately out of our control. As discussed in direct messages with Toni, our whitewash finish is an oil based stain. All oil based stains are translucent pigments of color that penetrate the wood. Therefore wood graining will always be visible when using a stain. We do not advertise painted (opaque) finishes. We believe our stain shades are portrayed accurately + the whitewash option is one of our top sellers. Toni did not contact us in regards to any damages prior to this review; therefore we were not originally given the opportunity to address this issue as we would normally would- by sending a replacement.
